Customer Care Agent

Job Description:
Customer Care Agents work in a fast-paced, home-based contact center environment and provide personalized services via phone and by offering additional assistance and services that that meet or exceed clients’ time and quality expectations.
This position requires executing transactions promptly and accurately as well as responding to customer service requests and inquiries. To meet those demands, the CCAs will focus on understanding the client service policies and systems as well as products and services.
Successful CCAs are enthusiastic and have a passion for customer service, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Operating hours are currently Monday through Sunday, from 10am ET to 2am ET. Customer Care Agents will be required to work on rotating schedule Monday – Sunday. Weekend and holiday work is required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Promptly answers inbound telephone calls responding to customer inquiries questions related to client’s products.
* Offers (up-sells and cross-sells) additional products that may enhance the customer experience and complete the customer’s purchase order
* Offers (sells) credit cards and other loyalty programs
* Applies high quality customer service guidelines when fulfilling customer inquiries.
* Communicates responses in a clear, timely and concise manner.
* Participates in ongoing training programs.
* Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Able to work on a rotating schedule Monday – Sunday and to work on holidays
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* At least one year related customer service experience
* Sales experience required
* Strong telephone and written communication skills with customers
* Ability to type 35 words per minute
* Problem solving, organization and teamwork
* Pleasant, articulate, and able to make decisions within guidelines
* Proficient with MS Windows & Multiple System Usage
Compensation:
* $8.50 – $10/hour plus incentives.
* Average compensation ranges from $10-$12/hour. Information about compensation will be discussed further in the interview process.
